GCAL dated 5 years ago???

Im looking at a Jubilee stone from GOG and the GCAL report that comes with the stone is dated 4.5 years ago. Should this be a concern for me that the stone appears to have been issued so long ago? Could this possibly be a repurchased stone? Professionals please chime in.

Maybe just no one wants it. Just ask GOG if you are interested.

Could be a trade-in when someone upgraded, the only way to know is ask GOG.

Jubilees are a branded stone that came out around 2005. Then for a while they stopped producing them. There was some issue with the cutter not wanting to continue with the cut because of the time involved to create a perfect one. But in the mean time several other similar branded stones were introduced.

I don't think very many were cut and GOG seemed to be one of the very few who carried them. The one you are looking at could have been traded in for an upgrade or been with Jon since 2005. It shouldn't be a problem but if you are curious ask GOG. I would guess it's new but has been around waiting for someone looking for a Jubille in that size. I think they are beautiful!
