Gary Braun barion square Amethyst in Lucinda type setting.

This is another setting that I've had for quite a while. I bought it second hand on ebay. It's a well made setting and I've just been waiting for that special stone that could hold it's own as a solitaire. I got this Gary Braun Amethyst a few months ago (I'm the second owner) and was especially pleased that it fit in this setting. The stone is much prettier IRL than I can capture in my photos. I lightened up the one photo of the ring that is taken from the top to try to show the faceting.

Forgot to add, the amethyst is 7mm and 1.8ct.

Thanks - I found a nice looking amethyst ring a few years ago in a pawn shop, but I gave it to my sister because it's her b-stone, so I've had my eye out for an amethyst and was pleased when this one came available.

Treebean - lol I do have a few more things in the works (or ready to be) and one that I have already, but I haven't gotten a good photo of it yet, but I'll be sure to post when I do.

That's very pretty! I like that the cut of the amethyst is somewhat like the Lucida diamond cut.

That amethyst is delish!! I'd wear that in a heartbeat
