We had a party on Wednesday night to celebrate the 30th year since I put out the door mat here at our Canterbury store.

Can anyone spot the ice carving diamond?

Jeff Kennet was a charismatic state premier during some turbulent times.
He did my very first advertising about 25 years ago, and said a few words - he is one of the most sought after public speakers in Oz - he was very entertaining, but asked for the US$36k from the sale of his eccentric aunts Alexandrite 15 years ago - seems one of the uncles who I paid the money too might have absconded!!!!

Anyone made the connection between what is on my lapel and what''s on the billboard?

Marylon sung diamonds are a girls best friend, then went out the back and after 3 calls by the pianist, lurched back in "drunk" and sang Happy Birthday Mr President (subs Holloway) to introduce me

Diana, my general manager is standing behind with her 2nd glass of bubbly looking like Mona Lisa.
She organised this event and kept much of the proceedings secret from me.

It was a huge party (no selling) and Di left her hair down after the speeches.

Thank you all for your kind wishes and compliments.
We have been away for the weekend, so have not checked back in till now. Wine and food festival in Heathcote - the home of Heathcote Shiraz for all you wine buffs.

Yes - the ice carving is high in one of the 2 corner narrow doors to the left of center.

The lighting color kept changing from purple to red to blue etc - I have no idea how much all this cost - and they took it all away and it was biz as normal next morning.

Oh, and yes - they are diamonds in the 18ct white gold lapel pin. I guess we need to rent it out to everyone with a 30th B''day, or biz or anniversary?

And btw - of course every diamond is ideal cut - ideal-scope selected. In some of the shots you can see the fire. I would post more of me - but I have lipstick all over me from kissing lovely clients.

It would have been great to put a giant idealscope over the ice carving with a ladder so people could climb up and see the pattern (maybe in another 10 years).
