For those who are newer to PS, I wanted to point out this amazing resource from our own Garry Holloway @Garry H (Cut Nut). I bought the Kindle version for a mere $9.99, and it is full of so much wonderful information! He writes so clearly that the reader never feels bogged down. For the nerd in me (in a former life I was a radiologist and geeked out on the details of imaging technology), the book clearly explains details of why this and why that (e.g., how many pavilion facets will be involved with a ray of light entering through a crown facet vs the table). I love that sort of detail. But it has to be explained smoothly, and Garry delivers.
There is a hard copy version where you can look at all the photos and charts on high quality paper. I found the digital version, however, more than enough for my amateur interests.
$9.99 is such a bargain to learn from Garry's vast wealth of experience and expertise. Treat yourself to some in-depth diamond knowledge!
