Kimberly--I''ve never read the Harry Potter books either, and I am a voracious reader.

I''m not Jewish haven''t had it either, but hubby loves it.

We used to have a wooden roller coaster here called the Thunderbolt, in Willow Grove Park Pa. It was one of the oldest in the US. I loved it. But to keep on topic, I haven''t seen Star wars, and haven''t seen the Godfather movies. Hubby and son love the Godfather... But they don''t love Starwars.

Kaleigh, you go off topic whenever you so choose, my friend! That is so awesome, I''d have loved to ride it.

My hubby thinks the Godfather films and Star Wars are works of art and that I''m missing out...I think I will live a full and happy life never having spent the hours it would take to view them!

I''ve never gone on most amusement park rides. I HATE rides. I''ve only been on one roller coaster (when I was little) and it was a bad experience. I''m a wuss at even tea cups and merry-go-rounds. I get too dizzy. My husband doesn''t like rides either. Our future kids will hate us.

I''ve never seen the Godfather movies, and I''ve never read any of the Harry Potter books. I love to read but I don''t like fantasy.

My husband has never seen Top Gun either, Skippy.

Can you expand a bit? I''m truly curious why you say this is a cultural thing, not just being a smart ass.

As of 2006 there were 600 McDonalds in China, I know they serve alternatives in other countries but it appears there are hamburgers on the menu as well

LOL!!!! You most certainly can ask why! It is hard to explain though...From when I was a tiny child the sight of them just revolted me and especially tinned tomatoes....

Those are TERRIBLE things!

It is that bad that just the sight of tinned tomatoes in particular makes me gag. And the smell....

I hate the pips and the slime and the strings, everything about them. Yuck.

Ahhh!! I too am an avid reader... And I love Harry Potter!!! I was forced to read the first one for a class at school, then I was IN LOVE!!

DF, one of my husbands'' favorite foods is sweetbreads, I''ve tried them and I didn''t enjoy the experience, but I wasn''t disgusted either. I don''t think I''d opt to eat them again though, unless they were part of a tasting menu.

Tuckins, you and my sister (who is also a voracious reader) both love the HP series. I''m so glad you enjoy those books.

I don''t have a driver''s licence and I''m not sure I want one. I prefer sitting in a taxi when in traffic jam rather than being the driver myself.

And I love Harry Potter, I''ve been kinda forced to read the first one which I found rather boring initially but around the middle of the book I was hooked!
