"Galaxy" Sapphire From Finewater

Just arrived today, a little "galaxy" winza sapphire with interesting color zoning. Such a unique and mysterious little guy!

Dimensions are 1.34ct and 6.8×6.8×4.3

I LOVE these sapphires. Congrats on snapping it up. They are often called sapphire and ruby in one.
However, I have only seen one example from someone's collection that had more red zoning and GIA called it red and dark blue. I think the blues+pinks like yours are more attractive.

Thank you! Mine actually has a mild red fluorescence too under UV light... These are interesting little stones

Ha. On Etsy actually. I eyed it for a while and then it actually appeared to have sold and then when it was for sale again I made an offer because I (of course) felt it was meant to be.

I will share the vendor once it arrives. I’m crossing my fingers it’s as nice as the photos.

I can't say it's sparkly, maybe a little more towards glowy..? I don't know, it's hard to describe, the color is what stands out to me more. The blue part is very dark, but does open up slightly more in better lighting. Very interesting overall
