So I got frustrated enough to cheat a little. I came across another forum that had this hint as to what the password is. Don't look at this if you really don't want to know the password, because it's a giveaway. Slg47, we're right about the username. I plan to go back and figure all these out, but this bypasses all the frustration of 27b so I can move on momentarily.....again, look at your own risk!
just as the hint says, think of a puzzle that was the previous answer of previous puzzle. Something you can do alone. Or you can write down all the answers of all previous puzzles till you have the right one

ETA ok so got the username (I think anyway!), phew that was an easy relief! Jstarfireb - I don't even want to risk quoting your earlier hint because the temptation is just too strong to look! I am going to give it one final bash today because I have some free time later, and if I don't get it by then I am just going to go ahead and cheat. And I won't even care I can click on "see where you've been" for the answer and work backwards if it bothers me that much.

no caps/exclamation. look at the entire line! (including the honestly, that's made-up part!)

On that note, I'm stuck on Level 7. Grrr. I clicked on the source code for this one, and tried looking at the font pattern. Based on that, the next font would be #FGFGFG. When I insert that in the URL, it takes me to the first page of the puzzle!

I will get to the bottom of this

ETA: So I started to see if any of the font names were missing. And I realized #9B9B9B was missing. But when I type that in, it STILL takes me to the first page of the puzzle I'm getting closer...I can feel my spidey senses tingling

Hey SLG - I missed your post. I did see what was missing in the code (in my edit above), but that doesnt seem to be working either. I have to get back to doing something more productive here at work (although, in my books, this IS productive , so I'll re-visit it later this evening.

Hey SLG - I missed your post. I did see what was missing in the code (in my edit above), but that doesnt seem to be working either. I have to get back to doing something more productive here at work (although, in my books, this IS productive , so I'll re-visit it later this evening.

ok...the one missing should work, look for one missing in the sequence, not what the next one would be!

Kama, I put the hex colors in excel and deleted every 16 rows. This should point out which is missing quickly.

put it into notepad, make the font smaller, adjust window size until you can read something

sI'm on 21 right now and all I've got is 'Red Herrings'. When I got that, I yelled it out and my hubby pretty much told me it was going to be a booby trap! yeah so for this one you need to look at the source code, it will give you a hint of where to go

OK, I'm now on 41. Taking a break from the b line for a while...got 28b but still can't get 27b or 29b.

WOOOO HOOOOO I FINISHED!! Yay!! Finally, no more kumquats! Here's a teaser pic of the "prize" to motivate you guys! Phew. What the hell am I going to do with my free time now?!

Of course, I'm not really finished - I skipped a few b levels that I am going to have to go back and try to crack for peace of mind. Although I think 27b is going to haunt me for a long time...
