I have been in search for a Jubilee stone since I learned of them in March 2006. I know the manufacturers have stopped production, but that didn't stop me. I am so glad because I have located 3 from an authorized vendor in PA!!!

My question, what is an ideal range for a 1ct jubilee?

Which would you choose? All three come with GCAL certificates.

6.15mm. x 6.14mm. x 4.25mm. I VS2 1.22ct

5.86mm. x 5.83mm. x 4.01mm. H VVS2 1.05ct

5.87mm. x 5.85mm. x 4.18mm. J VS2 1.12ct

For those interested in the other jubilees, let me know and I will point you in the right direction. Thanks ps for any input.

WOW it looks like #1 is the clear winner!!!

Let us know what you do, and take photos.

Thanks everyone that has responded...and for reference.
1.22ct VS2 I at $7,890
1.05ct VVS2 H at $8,990
1.12ct VS2 J at $6,250

I already purchased a 1.07ct Jubilee from GOG and am in the process of setting it in a platinum e-ring posted in the link below, I don''t know how to link yet, sorry!. This one will be made into a pendant for my little girl. Her name is Jubilee

The specs for the Jubilee I purchased from GOG:
6.11mm x 6.10mm x 3.88mm for 6,000.00 even.
1.07 cts G SI2

Do you think its worth the extra extra money for 1.22ct?

~~I am no expert, but I wouldn't pay the extra $$ just to go up .05 mm...Unless you want better color/clarity/cut, etc... Plus, your stone has better color, and the clarity might not be an issue. Have you seen the stone in person yet??

I just set my Jubilee, both from GOG - I got it when they first came out. I havent looked at the info for so long, but i think it is - 1.02 G VS1

Your Jubilee is beautiful! The eternity band is my favorite, and I have decided to go with Leon Mege for the setting. I just wished there were larger jubilees so Leon can work with. He worried that with a 1ct. all the details may drown out the Jubilee, and I couldn''t agree with him more. I told him I was just happy to even have a Jubilee. Hopefully GOG may be able to locate a larger stone for me sometime soon.

In the meantime, it will take LM about 4-6 weeks to produce my ring and set it, but if he told me it would take him longer I would gladly wait too because his pieces are all gorgeous! This guy is really passionate about his work, and I am eager to meet with him in person. He went on and on about how he could play with the design I liked etc etc. Lucky for me I am in NYC. He invited me over tomorrow...but sadly, I don''t have the Jubilee in hand yet. My father is coming home with it tomorrow night!! WOOOOHOO!

WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN WHY? Am I the last to know? I had no idea they were discontinued....

Congrats on your find. I agree with #1. Been looking for jubes too... haven;t found one with my specs yet tho

Oh, definitely keeping the one from GOG, it was hand picked by Cary himself and shipped to GOG since he can only sell to the trade. I am really happy with the one Cary picked and the major inclusion is where a prong would cover so I can live with that. The other two inclusions are twinning wisps...and very noticeable but only under magnification. I can''t be picky when it comes to Jubilees so I chose to live with that. But really, I am thrilled!!!

I am getting an eternity band with split prongs on an eternity basket. Its very classic and I like that. As for the other 3 stones, I think I might pass on them altogether until Cary finds a 2ct for me. CROSSING FINGERS!
