Hi All,
I was happy to find this forum! While metal detecting, I found an old man's silver ring. It weighs 3.3 grams. There are no markings on it that I can see (see photos). I know almost nothing about rings, so I apologize in advance, for my newbie questions. From the photos, can any of the experts here tell me anything about this ring in terms of the craftsmanship, or a possible time frame or style? It was found in an area with an extensive Spanish colonial history. Also, it appears to be a man's ring, correct? It's too small for me to wear but would I be correct in assuming that I could resize it it larger? And finally, any suggestions for cleaning it up?
Many thanks for any feedback!
