Formally Introducing Blondie, Champagne OEC

Thought this ring deserved her own thread being a 15th wedding anniversary gift
This was an EBay find, not listed as champagne color (even though that’s not a technical classification) and not labeled as an OEC so it was just luck that I stumbled upon it.

The center is a .76 light champagne OEC diamond SI-1 clarity. Tapered baguettes on either side 15 points each I color SI-1 clarity. The band has single cut diamonds 9 points total. One nice thing is the band is soldered to the engagement ring so no spinning! This is my highest setting by far at nearly 8mm.

This diamond is the same size as Fancy Pants so I took a couple of pictures to show the difference in color, Fancy Pants is a K. I love that I can stack with this and my sapphire eternity is a perfect height.

I named her Blondie for her golden hues so she joins her sisters in my permanent collection: Queen of Hearts, Martha Washington and Fancy Pants.

This wasn’t listed as an old cut, the only way you would know is if you looked at the pictures on a computer or other large screen (the phone screen was too small). The mermaid who watches over photography sessions is solid silver and she was a pawn shop find, the box in the pictures was $2 at a vintage shop. There is good stuff out there!
