I made a thread in November asking for helping picking out a loose fancy yellow stone. All of the suggestions there were to talk to David with Diamonds by Lauren, so I did just that 
I was kind of scared to make such a large purchase online, without ever seeing the jewelry in person, but David was absolutely amazing to work with and talk to, and he truly made my ring dreams come true! David found me an outstanding 2 carat internally flawless fancy light yellow slightly elongated cushion cut diamond and placed it in a dainty falling edge halo. I never thought I could have such a stunning ring. I'm still in awe that it's mine! This thing is so sparkly, it almost looks fake! And the craftsmanship is outstanding...so much more dainty and delicate than his pictures make it look, if that's even possible.
I am glad I took David's suggestion to drop down in color and go up in carat size. I actually really love the ethereal, delicate yellow on my skin tone (pale with strong pink undertones), more so than a darker yellow. The carat size is exactly what I wanted. It's a 5.75 ring size.
