First, I weite this from a hospital bed on a tiny phone so sorry for typos!

I finally got a fairly good settlement (I let go of my $66,000 coverage so they would pay Graff for this 2.1 center F, VS1 EC. I am so happy to have a ring. And I pray to replace my criss, bracelet, watch, and platinum wedding band someday)...

For now I have a 2.5mm Asprey 18kt yellow gold I wear daily. I was dropped from insurance, so the ring is being watched like a hawk... You all are to thank!!!!!

And when I get out I will post better ones!

It looks lovely, especially with all that you have been through recently!

Can you tell us the dimensions on the EC and total weight of the baguettes?

I hope and pray you recover quickly!

Beautiful ring and elegant, I love the dual tone combination.
I hope you make a full recovery MrsWhitney!

Oh, such a gorgeous ring!!! If I could have a second ring, I think that is the style I'd choose! Hope you can get the other things before too long!

Praying for complete healing for you!

I can get the GIA info when out of the hospital...but I do know it is (I think-morphine not speaking) 8..02 x 6.87x 4.6ish

Am so happy you had a positive outcome, your ring is gorgeous!!

What a roller coaster you've been on--health, husband moving, the loss of sentimental jewelry--egads. Not miner stuff here Mrs. Whitney--hope you've turned the corner & your new ring is a promise of things to come. Along with everyone else, praying for your recovery.

So so beautiful! I am glad you have her to keep you company while you get better!

It's absolutely perfect.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!!

It's amazing! I would sell my own granny for a ring like that, hahahaa!

So if I'm understanding correctly, you decided to put all of the insurance money toward a ring instead of replacing all the pieces, and you'll replace the others gradually at a later date. Is that because the insurance would only pay for the ring portion (bad) or because you decided to upgrade? (Good!)

And how come you've been dropped from the insurance? That doesn't seem fair. It's not your fault that the jewelry was lost.

But anyway, that is one stunning ring, and to have a Graff is more exclusive than to have a Tiffany!

It's beautiful. I am so glad you were able to replace it.

They dropped you? Repulsive. I hope you can get coverage elsewhere. Update your other thread if you haven't already so people know you were dropped. The bad PR is enough to drive people away in droves. I certainly will NEVER recommend them to another bride or diamond consult again. I've been mentioning to my Chubb rep that they need to bring back standalone again, if for no other reason than the bury the competition. And I sent her your thread. She forwarded it on to management. Maybe your experience will be enough for them to bring it back.

Your new ring is gorgeous! I am so glad you were able to find one you love. My insurance came up recently and I am doing research to change it. Chubb for me too! I am appalled at the way Perfect Circle treated you. I am with Ame, I will never recommend them again.

Much dust for your speedy and total recovery!
