I didn't mean to make anyone feel old.

I was making fun of how seventeen year olds are smarter than me (24) when it comes to technology. Sorry if I offended anyone!

but, it might also be possible that it is something like mentioned in this thread:

Different diamond colors in the D-J range, yet the color may well not be noted

_________

Alright, now that you skipped it and didn't take the time to click the link, go back up and click it. You can even right click it to open in a new window if you want. (The first time I saw this link I skipped it and just had to go look it up and read it for myself:)

We see here that one of the first color combos mentioned is Greenish-yellow. And as we all know Yellow and Blue make green so perhaps it is possible that there was a little bit less of the mineral creating the yellow hue (what is that, nitrogen perhaps?) and more of that making the blue, thus giving it a stronger blue appearance--and maybe if it had been placed side-by-side with a true fancy color blue it might have actually had a slight sea green tone to it. Then, being an I color just as you probably wouldn't say that a yellow hue I color is a Yellow diamond, you also wouldnt look at that diamond and say it would be somewhat visible but not enough to say, "oh hey, look this is a blue diamond" as an I color isn't really THAT strong.

Thus under certain lighting the blue or blueish green would be less apparent and in others more, also determined by the surroundings, but totally independent of fluo. Just a thought, but it seems that it might have been a possibility?
