i had a very small wedding and these were the only flowers purchased for the occasion. my shoes were orange and hot pink. i went into a flower shop two weeks before the wedding and told them i wanted a fun bouquet to match my shoes and that i would pick it up on the 3rd. this is what they made. i loved it!! no idea what type of flowers they are.
I remember your fabulous shoes and your bouquet would have been perfect

Bouquet #6 was my inspiration bouquet...I love the romantic feel of it. I''ve changed the colors to black magic roses, black bacarra roses, dark red dhalias and red orchids. I will tie it off with dark teal ribbon. I can''t wait to see what it looks like. My wedding is November 1st....eeeekkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!! so excited.

I fell in love with this bouquet. It is so happy and bright. Plus I just LOVE dahlias. So I think this will be my color scheme!

HH, I really like that last bouquet you posted. The dark colour is so dramatic and sexy.

Booswim, I lurve that colour combination. It really is so happy and bright. I wouldn't be able to stop smiling looking at it. This one's definitely going in my inspiration folder!

Our flowers were black magic roses, white roses and stephanotis. Lots of pictures ahead, beware...

Due to restrictions on my account(?) I can''t post pictures like the rest of you, but I posted links...

My bouquet. It was beautiful. There were four different orchid types in there, two different (and amazing) types of roses and those gorgeous mango callas.

Yah Gypsy, our resident flower expert, I was hoping you'd post in this thread

Your bouquet was beautiful as we all knew it would be!

ETA: Do you know of a species of rose that kinda looks like peonies. On the cover of the Sept/Oct Brides magazine the model is holding a bouquet of pink roses that are gorgeous. I mistook them for peonies and I'd love to find out more about them. TIA!

For some reason I don''t have any pics of my bouquets on here, but I''ll try to find some. Here are my centerpieces:

My colors were black and red.

The bridesmaids'' bouquets had

- rice flower
- hydrangea sprays

the flowers really popped next to their indigo dresses!

My bouquet was like Hudson''s pic and my sister''s was this cute one. My sister was my only BM.

This is a casading style. No one wants this style anymore.

bad angle of the bouquet. It''s actually the toss bouquet.

This wasn''t an actual bouquet for someone. I was just having fun, but I like how the blue works together.

This is really bad picture quality. The bridal bouquet is sterling silver roses, and the bridesmaid''s one is purple irises. Don''t know if you can see it.

Duh! I suspected I got that picture from somewhere recently. I love it!!!

Here are mine - somehow the colours seem to loose something when the image gets compressed . . .

I sent the florist some spectactular inspiration photos (well above my price range), and I was really happy with what she managed with my more limited budget. I will have to hunt around for those inspiration photos, they were really stunning.
