Do these diamonds appraise any different than others?

Has anyone here bought an I or J and still wasnt satisfied with the color?

I have only found 2 vendors that have a good collection to choose from, BGD and BN.....Any reviews from your purchase experience with them or anyone have another vendor in mind?

Of course there are 2 from BGD within my criteria that are reserved and I definitely understand why......when does BGD replenish their stock? My favorite vendor so far....

Can you ask BN for scopes of diamonds to see if their Ideal cuts are true H&A?

Which would you go with?

BG diamonds are a step (or two) above BN as most of BN stones are not going to be the cut quality of BG. BN doesn't give you idealscope or ASET images, so you are basically buying blind. Therefore, for me, the choice would be between the two BG stones, and I would personally choose the H VS2 color stone.

+100

The BG Blue line is lovely. The stone you see in my avatar is a BG Blue and it is an I with medium fluor.

you might want to contact brian gavin diamonds and let them know of your intention and criteria. When they restock, you can have the first hand choices or have them help you hunt down one based on your specifications.

BG has his stones specially cut, so I would never ask him to hunt one down as in looking for a virtual stone. Are the two on hold what you are looking for or are they not what you want?

Just as a side note for you diamond investigations:

An Ideal-scope is not the same as a H/A viewer. An idealscope gives you information about the light return. A H/A viewer shows the hearts (viewable only on the backside) and the arrows (on the front).

They are more the size For the price I was looking for...but even if I get a smaller ct. I would get a whiter, cleaner diamond. So there's give and take. I will call BGD tomorrow and tell them my criteria...fingers crossed.
