Floral/leaf marquise wedding band??

Hi all,
I am trying to choose a wedding band to go with my solitaire. I wanted something unique that looks floral. My e-ring was made my Steven Kirsch. I asked him to show me what this pattern (to look like leaves) would look like out of marquise diamonds. It would be about 6mm wide. My e-ring band is 1.88mm, and he put the marquises next to a similar sized band for reference. I think it’s gorgeous, but I’m wondering if it would detract from my e-ring. (I included some photos of it alone for reference.). But I am personally not against a large wedding band, and I think I would prefer this when compared to a thin micropave band (the alternative).

Wow, can't wait to see the finished ring! Do you plan to have it as a solid band or more of a filigree with the diamonds looking like they are floating?
