Good Morning Everyone,

As I'm not quite that experienced, I'm wondering if I could get some feedback/opinions on this diamond. Recent purchase I've made....

Do you have a video and can you post a picture straight down with the camera lens parallel the table of the diamond? The numbers don't tell us much about this cut.

It did get dinged for symmetry as it is out of square by 0.02 mm.

Here's another direct shot from above.

I’m always very leary of posts like this. What do you REALLY want to know? Would you return it if seasoned Pricescopers say that it was a crappy diamond, or are you really just looking for a pat on the back?

That said, princess cuts are the fancy cut I know least about so I have no opinion on that. The setting looks to be well-made however.

Thanks @RetroTreeGal . Definitely dot looking for any pat on the back here; I knew this would be a good place to get unbiased and anonymous opinions. I would certainly consider returning the diamond if there we're any major red flags or consensus on any negative aspect. I've seen a lot of pros on these forums with great knowledge and valuable objective opinions. I'm admittedly no pro and I appreciate all feedback based on the images and GIA report.

The photo looks good. When you rock the stone back and forth, do you see the facets turning on and off, no areas to the NEWS that stay greyish all the time?

@rockysalamander when I rock it there's definitely a lot sparkle. I'm getting many small pinpoints of flash (assuming due to 4 chevron cut).

If you get nice crisp facets that turn on and off in the yellow areas and you have a lot of movement, on and off...sounds like you have a good option. Based on the stills...this looks good. I can't be definitive as you really need to see these in person or high-res video.

Example of a good princess being compared to a branded stone, but you can see the visual performance to look for (

@rockysalamander I really appreciate the advice and additonal content here. I'll be sure to take a closer look with those areas of the diamond in mind.
