Hey all, brand new to this forum and i'm so glad I found it. I've done a lot of reading and research on how to go about choosing a diamond. I'm planning on proposing pretty soon, so now its time to finally decide.

My criteria:
- GIA certified
- Round
- 1.28-1.34ct
- J color, I've done lots of research on this and a J is still a shade of white - I can barely tell unless its side by side next to a D-G.
- SI1-VVS2 - as long as the SI1 is eye clean
- Must have HCA rating of <2
- Fluorescence - i've read that having fluo can make a J diamond look whiter but there's no scientific evidence of this, so I'm not sure. Great if it has some, not a deal breaker if it doesn't.
- diamond budget is $5500 at the very max

I've been searching on bluenile and james allen, until I started searching on PriceScope.

What do you think about this diamond by USA Cert? Seems like a really good deal.

If they provide you with an idealscope image, then, yes it could be a good choice.

Yes, sorry. Missed that. I think it's a good stone. A slight amount of leakage but probably not eye visible. If they have a good return policy get it in person and see what you think!
