Look like a fish eyes for me. The big table make me afraid but I'm not an expert. :errrr:
 
I doubt it is a pretty diamond with those angles. You can do a whole better than this. In general, the following is a baseline you can use to start with:
Table - 56-ish to 57-ish
Depth - 60 to 61-ish
Crown angle - 34 to just shy of 35-ish
Pavilion angle - 40 to 40.8 -ish

The angles all need to work together for the diamond to look nice. You can plug in the stats to see the comment on your diamond.

thanks for all opinion. so can anyone tell me how much approximatly the stone will cost. because i still have an opportunity for bargain and pick diferent stone. :)
 
I would not pick this diamond at any cost. Instead I'll use my money to buy a better cut diamond.

Hmm, how about this one:

It scores a 1.5 on the HCA tool, and is 6.18mmx6.16mm

The stone you posted, while a bit bigger, is a deep stone with a smaller diameter of 6.03x6.05. It too scores a 1.5. Since it's got a smaller diameter, it's got a thick girdle which is where that extra weight is hiding.
 
i'm surrender on this. i will upgrade my budget to $6500 to get 1 carat because most of my friend told me that if you pay that amount rather to get 1 carat is more worth of money with more better grade. it is true?

James Allen is great, they have pictures and good prices.

So they told you that 5000 isn't enough for a .90 and now you want 1 ct for 6500? It doesn't work like that, that is almost a proportional increase. You can get a 1 ct G/H SI for 6500 or a .9 ct G/H for 5000.
 
pretty good but the twinning wisp alot.. what that? will it affect the diamond?
 
Is there a reason why you're looking at such high color? I've only bought four diamonds in my life, but personally I've found that I can't tell a noticeable difference between high and lower color diamonds until you get around J or K. I was able to buy a much bigger, nicer diamond for my girlfriends engagement ring because I purchased an 'I' color stone. Stone color influences the price quite a bit in my experiences and you could be paying a ton extra for something you can't even see.

If you're trying to stick with that budget, I would recommend looking at stones that are one or two grades higher but with a better cut, i.e. 'H' color/ SI1 clarity, but an excellent cut grade. As mentioned before, James Allen offers a discount for members to this site and a further discount if you are able to perform a bank wire.

I can't speak for Blue Nile but I have worked with James Allen and I haven't had any issues with my purchase or with customer service. I would buy from them again.
 
By the way thanks for all you guy opinion and really teach me alot on here about diamond. To day i went back to the jewelry store and they show me 1 carat F color SI1 with $6200. Can anyone tell me are this piece is worth that value :)

If it were me, and I were going for a 1ct diamond, I'd make sure it's as close as possible to 6.5mm diameter and an AGS 000 or GIA 3X cut. The diameter of the stone you posted is much closer to a 0.90ct stone, so it may look smaller than it is after mounted.

i don't think you can buy a well cut AGS/GIA 1ct F SI1 for $6K
 
In answer to your question, blue nile is a trusted site. I bought a diamond there and it was gorgeous but if I was buying a more expensive diamond I'd go with another vendor where I can see the actual stone and get an idealscope/ASET image to verify that the light performance is top notch. To 99% of people on this board, cut is the most important - as that's what determines how sparkly a diamond is essentially and an ideally cut diamond will usually appear whiter than a lousy cut diamond. But what are your preferences and budget?
 
i see. but is the one the vendor show it to me is very bad?? because that is $6 G and i had compare it side by side with a .80 D vs2 excellent cut together and the both same sparkle. only thing was different is size and D is much white. HCA score 2.5 it is still bad?
i really don't know. my budget max is $6200 without setting. thanks
