First time buyer, please HELP!!!!

Bear in mind these diamonds will be around half the size of an eraser on top of a pencil and these photos are greatly magnified, so the only way to tell if a diamond is eyeclean or not is to ask the vendor to check them for you.

James has 3 princess cut Ideal .58tcw I SI1 for a little more... should i sacrifice Color from F down to I to get a cleaner stone? and what should i ask them when i call in?

How do i get the discount at James Allen? i tried the pricescope search in front page but it doesn't show JA's diamonds
 
Patrick, your funny.....and i quickly learned the plus side of expert opinions on PS is the comfort of knowing you are buying something that is a good deal......the downside is it is a public forum and the lurkers, once they see the PS experts give a thumbs up, quickly buy the item shown. Reserve something before posting on here if you have reasonable certainty that it may be what you want......good luck

No, JA put it on hold for you when you requested IS of them. It will be on hold for you for 24h after you received your IS. Regarding the discount, just tell them you are from PS.

They are probably on hold for you as you requested IS, check with them but it is probably fine, this has given a few a scare recently!
 
Finally 2 IdealScope images came in my email, but I got in another problem...
In the last chat session, Darin from JA told me they are both eye clean, but he now informs me that even tho it is still considered eye clean, "the heavy inclusions are going to definitely be visible to the naked eye"
It kinda scares me

I like the stone with the "Heavy Inclusion", the IS looks better for the light return, the F stone looks like way too leaky. How did he qualify a visible to the naked eye as eye-clean???

If I had to geuss, it is because *eye clean*means you can`t see the inclusions from 8 - 10 inches, but with these stones you can see the inclusions when you are closer than that.

Some diamonds are eye-clean no matter what definition you use, I`d guess these aren`t.
 
ya, the one you just found looks promising...

From the IS, I would choose the 0.51ESI2 and the 0.52ESI2.

but still not as good as the .52 E SI2? i like that one but the inclusions in the center are just annoying... the .51 E SI2 has much bigger inclusions but at least they''re at the corner.
