Looks ok to me but you''d probably get an honest response if you talked to Jon at GOG. Maybe ask him what he thought and why it only has a 30 day guarantee as opposed to a lifetime guarantee?

Welcome to Pricescope.

1) Go on vimeo.com and type in Rhino cushion (that is jon at GOG) he compares and contrasts a lot of the different varieties of cushion cuts.
2) I like your choice of diamond it is a modern cut 8 main cushion brilliant. These new ones have interesting optical symmetry to me.
I would have jon do a video lineup of the following stones: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/6118/, http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5672/ and http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5900/ (the most popular type here this one is a little more expensive but Jon will have more coming that might be closer to your price range.) Also I reccomend he not just use the GIA diamond dock but look at them by the window (tell him this) so you can really see the brightness comparison.

Please let me know the link to the video if you decide to ask Jon to do one, I will would be most interested in the comparison. 6118 is a diamond where Jon likes the optics, whereas he will not guarantee the 5672 so I would be quite interested to see the differences in real life of the two in video.

3) I gave my fiance the choice of a diamond similar to the one you chose and a GOG signature chunky https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/the-shocking-final-diamond-choice-i-gave-to-my-fiance-which-one-would-you-pick.121154/ , now my comparison was unfair because they are different sizes but the comparison above will be of very similar size and would be a better comparison for you.

Good-Luck,

CCL

Its a nice cushion, not one of the best I have seen but it could be an attractive diamond and it is priced accordingly, I would ask Jon to do a video for you if he has time and it is in house, so you can get a better idea of how it looks and its optics. Is it the sort of cushion you are looking for and have you compared many and read up on the different types available?

I like the looks of it though if I were you I would check out what other cushions are available at similar price points, maybe going a little lower on clarity, color and carat but with a signature cut?
