So I have the pictures of my stones... not all the details yet... but I've seen them in person. They are beautiful. I'm waiting on the Sarin reports and then moving forward on a design.

Solasferas 1.7 ctw (G-H Color; VS-SI Clarity)

Once again I am relying on Tim Andre of Emma Parker & Co out of Seattle for the stones and he is using Adam at Sareen Jewelry for the design. The design is most definitely still a work in progress. (Tim & Adam did a wonderful job on my E-ring and bands...so I had to go back)...

:appl: :appl: Very Excited.....

The stones look very nice! I can't wait to see the final product! (And maybe some more pics in between if you get any)

What's your finger size? The stones are .30-.35 each?

SWEET!!!! It's gonna be a knock-out!!!! :naughty:

That is going to be one very sparkly ring, MayK! Nice fire and flash in your photo --- can't wait to see how it performs once set - you'll want a full time halogen bulb mounted over your shoulder!

That is going to be just gorgeous! I look forward to seeing your ring once it is all set. I am a huge fan of five stone rings.

Enerchi  great idea!!! :naughty: :naughty:

The ring will be a size 6.25 which should give me a little room for the summer...

The stones are all in the .35 range. When I get the Sarin reports I will provide more details. Tim had Solasfera put the grouping together specifically for building a five stone ring.

I tried on a bunch of different sizes over the past couple of weeks trying to figure out the best coverage and comfort for my hands... 1.75 seemed to be my sweet spot. :naughty:

I think I'm going to try and patent that idea then market specifically to all PSers - battery operated shoulder mounted halogen bulb light fixtures!! OR earrings ---- yeah - earrings that shine down on your hands!!! oooooh - watch for it soon on the shopping channel!!

The stones look terrific! Can't wait to see the final product!

I'm contemplating a 5 stone RHR myself, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end result.

Me too. I have 3 0.30ct RB and am thinking to have a 5-stone in one or two years.

The diamonds are indeed of great qualities~

Details...details... I forgot to add...

1.712 ctw

Stone #1 = .337
Stone #2 = .341
Stone #3 = .358
Stone #4 = .337
Stone #5 =.339

I do recommend trying rings on when you are thinking about this project... I found 1.5 ctw to be smaller than I wanted and 2.0 to be bigger than I cared for with the overlap I didn't think I would like long term.

Oh wow, a Solasfera five stone - this thing is going to be BLINGY!!! :sun: I've only seen Solasfera RBs IRL twice - and then it was larger single stones, but my goodness you really do need sunglasses with those lil' guys!

The stones look like great fits but I wouldn't mind the inclusions...I can't wait to see this one

Thank you Yassie... I consider you the resident expert... I'm very excited... I think I said that in an earlier post. My setting will not have as much swoop... But I sent Adam pictures of the Vatche three and five stones of the lines I likes which were curved... Wondering if I can also pull off a surprise stone...or two..or not...

Which Vatche settings did you mean - can you post pics? I am curious!

can't wait to see the finished product!

Wow, beautiful stones, Mary!!!! :appl:

Gorgeous diamonds!! This ring is going to be so stunning, can't wait to see it! This is very exciting!

Wow, that is going to be amazing.

Oh May, it's going to be *beautiful*. I love Solasferas (you lucky ducky! :appl: ) and the Vache settings you posted.

Can't wait to see the final product...

Phoenix... :wavey: The waiting is the hardest part   Now that I have the stones.... I'm feeling very lucky! :appl:

Ooooooh, I cannot wait to see the end result! When do you think the ring will be done? I will be impatiently waiting for the end result!

the design...

Thank you DS... I always want opinions... I did choose to have it a little higher... because I don't want the side stones between my fingers.. Phoenix mention it too.. when she saw it.. also maybe because of the stones under the baskets.. it's higher.. since I will be wearing it on my right hand and not with a traditional e-ring I think I'll be o.k.... although.. as I said to Phoenix.. this is the hard part.. looking at a drawing and picking a ring... ugh.. :errrr: it takes a bit of courage and acceptance I may screw it up... and then it will be on JbEG along with my first e-ring setting.. ;(

Yes, I totally agree that choosing settings without trying them on first is a major pain!!! Many of us have done setting changes because of that. The sad thing is that metal prices and settings are soooo high now that it is costly to make a mistake. I hope it turns out to be just what you want!
