First promise ring ever

She''s basically my first real girlfriend, and come august will be our 1 year anniversary.

I wanted to buy a promise ring to help celebrate the occasion, and I fell in love with this ring:

I called my local Shane Co. branch, but they didn''t have it. So I went online, and found out that they only had 4 more left in the company, so I had to order it right away. I could always return it anyways. I come back online this morning and find out the website is now sold out. Hopefully they didn''t oversell to me. Im just impatiently waiting to see it in real life.

I also bought this Alternative Ring to look at. I can just return them if I don''t like them.

I like the heart/sapphire one. Very nice.

I still remember the promise ring my college boyfriend gave me. A tiny tiny emerald chip in yellow gold. The gold band so so thin, after a year of daily wear it literally wore in 2 pieces and the store fixed it for free. What you picked out looks more substantial!

I''m sure she will love either choice. They are both nice but the sapphire one is more unique in my opinoin and I like it better.

Its been 2 full business days and still no change. Hopefully they are taking the usual 3 bus. days to find it, size it, and prepare it to ship out, and not spending all that time to look for the last one haha.

Hopefully I will see a change in the status of the order today.

The status on the website hasn''t changed for days, so I finally called them and they said that they received the ring, but the sapphire heart was chipped, so they sent out for a new one and it should arrive tomorrow for them to inspect, size and ship out.

Geez I hope the next one that comes in is okay.
