First Isreal Rose purchase, show me yours! <3

Just made my first purchase from Israel Rose on Friday. Waiting for my beautiful 3ct round and baguette ring to be sized and shipped. I just love all their current stock, and would love to see the pieces everyone here owns from they. I know lots of you must, because I know most of us can surely appreciate gorgeous and timeless antique and estate jeweler

Me too, I'm on pins and needles. I thought it was going to be a terrible experience because I was initially going to purchase a beautiful diamond open heart pendant, but the next day David informed me that someone had bought it before me and they didn't take down the listing yet. I was having trouble finding something for the same price (my partner was in Japan and we had already worked out a budget for this purchase, so I didn't want to increase what I was spending dramatically without talking with him first) In light of the issue, David gave me a sweet deal on this ring. So I ended up finding something that I loved so much more than the pendant. I ended up with the piece I loved more and got a sweet discount in the mix. All in all David has been great to work with, answers ALL my questions, fixed the problem that arrived with professionalism and good communication. I can surely say I will be back to newyorkestate.com for many more purchases in the future. They don't make them like they used to, that's why I can really appreciate a great estate vendor.
P.s. a great combo of rounds and baguettes can always brighten my day! I love the combo of fire and flash, but it has to be done correctly

I do love wearing them around the house, too. I try to look for pieces that can work with any attire. IMO diamonds go with everything

I'm glad you get to wear them...going to Target or a doc appointment IS a big event for me !

Hopefully once the kids are out of the house there will be a few more nicer dinners/events!

It might be worth taking it to and Independent appraiser. I have been told more than once by people on here that Israel Rose tends to not always deliver the colour and clarity as described. Other than that congrats.

Thanks, I usually always do with my more special pieces. That's kinda weird that you say that though, because everything I found on here was rave reviews about new York estate/Israel Rose. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you can find a bad review about anything...

The previous poster and I were referring to price scope posters. Not yelp reviews. Some of their pieces state that they come with certification and some do not.

Come to think of it, I did see one thread speaking to their sapphires, but if I remember correctly the person hadn't bought one, but was doubtful they actually looked as vibrant as the web site. Do you know of any other threads discussing this? I'm genuinely interested now
Good thing my piece is graded pretty high lol. We shall see when she arrives (at least enough for me to tell if its a problem)

I have made one purchase from them. It was a set of radiant cut yellow diamonds-earrings and a pendant all bezel set in 18K. The total weight was 1.34 ct, and I paid $1600. I thought it was a killer deal. Sorry, I don't have a pic, and I don't have time to take one this morning.
I have a wish list a mile long on their site!

Thank you so much Sundial ! I love this one too. I was a little hesitant to get it sized for my middle/index finger because it's so special, but I think it was a smart choice. I can wear it alone on the middle and with one on the ring finger on the index. All right hand of course lol. I have a few "e-rings" I switch out, but never like to wear anything else on the left hand besides bands with ering. I just think it takes away from the presence.

Sounds like a great deal to me . I'd love to see some shots when you have some extra time. My wish list is rapidly growing as well. I'd love a pair of OEC studs.

Thanks so much, Acinom! Your posts always brighten my day and bring a smile to my face . I'm just in love with this piece. I'm a sucker for the fire and flash you get with round and baguettes. I was a little nervous because a previous poster said she had heard a lot of people complaining about the listed clarity and color of their stones not matching what they actually are. I still have to get this piece appraised, but I was very pleased when I received the package and opened the box. I'm on the lookout for some sizable OEC studs now lol
