Hey, everyone- A couple weeks ago I purchased my first-ever diamond. I got it as an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I began my quest in late December, and between that time and ordering the diamond, I tried to learn as much as I possibly could about the process. I probably looked through 5,000 diamonds on 15 different sites before I finally found "the one" within my price range. Anyways, it is arriving tomorrow and I'm very nervous about how it will look. I was hoping some of y'all could make me feel a little better...
My budget, with setting, was $14,000. I really wanted a 2 ct round solitaire in a 4 prong, pave 3/4 eternity band. I soon figured out that this limited me to J color diamonds. Some people may not prefer J diamonds but that's OK with me (and my soon-to-be fiance'). So, I set out to find the biggest, best looking J color diamond I could find. Here are the stats for the one I settled on:
2.12 ct, VS2, J color, XXX, no fluorescence, HCA: 0.8.
Depth: 60.7%
Table: 58%
Crown Angle: 34.5%
Pavilion Angle: 40.6%
The GIA certificate shows a decent size crystal in the table, but it is listed as Eye-Clean. In the video of the diamond, the crystal only appears dark/black when rotated to its side. In any event, it does not bother me (at least in the video).
I know a proper examination cannot be done without aset and ideal scope images, but from what you see in the GIA certificate and video, do you think this will be a beautiful diamond?

Thank y'all so much.
