Hi all! I know there are a ton of New Yorkers and generally cultured members on this forum, so I thought this would be the perfect place to ask about this. I purchased tickets to Hamilton for September and I decided to make an overnight trip of it instead of driving 3.5 hours each way as a day trip. It's my first musical and I'm so excited! My boyfriend and I are staying over the night before so we are already in the city for the show (2 pm on a Wednesday) and we don't have to worry about getting there the day of. I'm wondering:
1. Does anyone have recommendations on where to stay? Obviously, we'd like to not spend a ton but also don't want to sleep on a park bench.
2. We are thinking of going to the Met - anyone ever been? About how long might it take to get through it?
3. Any suggestions on good eats? Perhaps somewhere we could make reservations.
I know these are very broad questions, but any advice would be appreciated! Thank you all, in advance!
