People stop me all over the place and say my (K color diamond) has so much fire and brilliance. No one ever says it''s yellow even when I try to ask then to honestly tell me the truth. So it must be a great cut K. No jeweler has told me it''s as low as K. When I ask what they think it might be most say F thru I. So wouldn''t that indicate a very good cut? I have to say the gleams of sparkle and brilliance sometimes blinds me in the sun.

Hi carina,

A well cut K color stone may face up beautiful.

Especially if it has some blue flourescense, in which case it may look like a H color face up.

Stones in this color range with a blue flourescense represent an incredible value for the consumer when compared to H color stones.

Yes, carina, it sounds like you have a very well cut stone.

Echo what was said above. Also, I remember reading in a past thread that the average color diamond sold in the U.S. is M color. Not too surprising when you consider a lot of the stuff sold in the maul. But I'm not sure about that.
