Thanks for all the help here. This was an inherited .82 ct diamond (we think OEC). It's got some fingerprints on it from being pawed all afternoon, but I think you get the idea. I love the chunkiness of it the old cut--I think it's well suited to a bezel.

I should have cleaned it--the stone looks really cloudy there, but it isn't in reality (two gemologists gave it a clarity of vs1, and it really does look crisp).
