Fine Gem Show Houston May 1-3

There will be a Fine Mineral Gem Show in HOuston on May 1-3, 2009.
It was the Dallas Show but it was moved to Houston, maybe because of the
gem exhibition at the museum during the same time. This looks like a really
good one, not the traveling shows that hit towns every 4 mos. or so.

Who wants to go?

The list of dealers looks awesome. But I''m now wondering if this is open to consumers/general public.

Lexie, we will all have to all go! And we can swing by the exhibit at the Museum too!
I just heard back from the show, it is open to all. Many of the dealers are also at the Tucson
show. Looks good. I''m not sure about the ratio of cut gems to just mineral specimans - I will find out!

OH I WANT TO GO! Who better than to go with than ladies who know their stones and can help me shop! It''s right before my wedding too...hmmm...I''m thinking...perhaps I should pick up a stone or two for a pre-wedding gift to have set???

ah, this is great! I hope we all can meet upagain.

I just checked- the diamond exhibit (that is huge) opens May 8th at the museum. Drats !!
