Hi all. I just purchased my diamond from GOG and can''t wait to get it in front of me. The experience was over the top to say the least but I''ll have a full write-up and some pics asap.
The question I have today is where I can find this setting and what might a good starting price be? My stone is a .94ct Round Brilliant. The included picture is from the catalog -- I doctored it up a bit to show all the details. It shows both a round and princess head but of course mine will be round.
The second question is if I have the e-ring made in white gold, will the gold detailing be affected should I need to re-plate in the future? I am thinking of having the shank fully engraved. Would this hide the dulling of platinum or make it worse?
