My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we’re FINALLY starting to look at engagement rings. I am leaning towards a classic setting but am not sure what size center stone to get. How do you think a 2.5 carat round center stone would look in this setting? I had found this diamond and wasn't sure if a 2.5 carat round center stone would look too big in this setting.

no,in fact the diamond look small for its weight. a well cut 2.5ct should be closer to 8.80mm

I agree the stone is too deep. We typically recommended no deeper than 62.3, but I'd personally shoot for 62 or better. Other than that, I think a 2.5 would look beautiful with your chosen setting. I think some milgrain on the edges would be nice too!
