I need your helps to find a 2+ carat diamond for my aunt. The budget about 15k for diamond. She want a big one

, color to I-J, eye-clean SI. It will be a 35th anniversary ring for her. Thank you all for your help to find a beautiful dream ring for my aunt.

Sorry I forget to add. My aunt wants a round diamond.

How about this one if JA can verify it''s eye-clean?
2.19 I/SI2

HCA score is 0.8 - gets the coveted quadruple excellent (very few diamonds I''ve seen get ex for spread on the HCA, and this one does). It''s under budget with the discount.

I will call to check if they are eye clean. Thanks Jstarfireb and Stone-cold11.

That is easy, just get a depth below 60.3% and you will get a Ex in spread on the HCA. Trying to get all Ex is the hard part. :P

Yeah, that''s exactly what I meant, just didn''t state it quite as clearly!

This one looks superb. It will face up huge, too. Let us know what the Idealscope looks like.

I just got IS images from JA. Please tell me how do they look. This is a IS of 2.11ct I, SI1

I''m waiting for more information of this stone. I will post here when I have it. Again, thank you.

Both IS look good to me.

I will talk to my aunt tonight to know what does she think.

The 2.29ct J,SI2 JA said that " This diamond will be eye-clean, however if you know what you are looking for you will be able to find the inclusions ". I can''t get on hold this one until drop some diamond I''m holding now. It''s fair

Good luck then. :)

EDT: Were we looking at any 2.29 J SI2? confused...

And 2.47ct J, SI2
Hi, it''s me again.
My aunt bought this one. Thank you all for your suggestions. Specially to Stone-cold11, thank you very much.

My aunt decided to set this diamond in a James Allen #1012Y with a platinum head.

Waiting is hard and it''s even harder when the shipping date keeps sliding without notify

. I will let you know what happen when I got some information from James Allen tomorrow - hopefully.

Love the setting. I am so excited for your Aunt. Keep us posted.. I am sure she''ll be more than thrilled the stone is a stunner.

Nice. :)

Good luck. Hope your aunt receive the ring soon. :)

After an unhappy email and a phone call from me, James Allen''s sale person called. He said that they have to re-make the whole ring because they had a problem with design system... and they try to do their best to keep the date line with is Jun 20th. I really hope that they can make it. It means they must finish and ship it tomorrow. I don''t know, fingers cross.

I''ll feel very bad if my aunt doesn''t not receive her ring on time. On Jun 20th is her 60th birthday. Her family already plan have a big party for her. Her husband also wants to give that ring to her as a 35th anniversary present.

Thank you all for letting me share this journey.

Hello all,

Finally, my aunt received this ring on her birthday. She was very happy.
Thank you for all of your helps. I tried to get some James Allen''s pictures as the sale person promised, but I thought it may never happen. I will be happier if some of my requests had been done.
Enough talk, here are some pictures that my aunt took and sent to me.

In this picture, I saw this ring was different with the stock picture. The connection between the shoulders with the basket. The bezels too wide, not able to wear with w-ring. Here is JA's ring

Yeah, what is up with those wires bulging out like that? James Allen certainly has had some repeated issues with their settings recently.

It''s a gorgeous diamond and the setting, on the website, look beautiful. You did a great job!

Ask JA about the setting if you are not happy with it.

Just let your rep at JA know and see what they advise.

I absolutely love the stone and the setting, but if you are unhappy with it I would contact the vendor.

Yes.... It''s like the wirework is almost the opposite of what it should be. I''d not be happy with that.
