I was comparing people''s MM sunbursts when I came across this photo in a thread. Can someone, preferably who owns this ring, tell me if the prongs are thinner than the regular sunburst. By regular, I don''t mean compared to the petite, but rather if I was to order a sunburst ring from MM, would the prongs be thicker than in this photo. I ask because I like the prongs (which seem thinner) in this pic than the thicker prongs on MM''s web site and other pics.

I am wondering if the owner of this ring asked Mark to make the prongs thinner, or if this is an illusion in the photo.

You can ask Mark to make the prongs anyway you want. He makes every ring individually.

I know, but I wanted to see if there were any more pics or handshots of this particular ring. Do you have a preference on this versus the original sunburst setting?

I like smaller prongs definitely. I had a ring made by Mark that was a trellis style and I asked for claw prongs. They turned out really beautiful.
