Finally , think i found the one

Husband and i been married 10 years and finally im getting a ring,

After a long period of looking at rings, and tryin to pick up the right diamond, i think i found the right combination, i decided to get it from reeds, (wanted to try the ring in person and have the shopping experience.) What do u guys think of this setting? it fits a half carat in the middle witch will be either an .55 AGS ideal cut si1 G in color, or a .60 GIA excellent cut F in color Si2 clarity, would have like to post the dimention but since reeds ordered them out of there stock i cant view the details . So, i wanted to pass it to you guys, to c if u like the setting, i wanted something with a halo that the diamond didnt get lost into. was tryin to attach a side view but, seems like it wont let me post 2 attachments. Would appreciate the feeds back thank u

This is a side view of ring, wanted something that didnt stick up to high, since im in ems field and put on and take gloves on all day, And another question, does people still wear smaller diamonds these days ? would love to see smaller diamong e-ring if u guys have pics

Well congratulations on getting a ring! How exciting. I have to be honest, though, I don''t love the setting - it looks confused. I would go with a circular halo - BUT that''s just me, the only person whose opinion matter is you!

And, yes, people do still wear smaller diamonds. In fact, I have what most on this board would consider a smaller diamond. I have a 0.58 ct and I love it. It seems that the longer I have it, the more I love it. I''m definitely not effected by diamond shrinkage syndrom.
