Finally pulling trigger...thoughts on cushion

I'm not the best at reading images but i think that this looks like a pretty stone. The one comment i have is that i do notice that at the 2 and 4 o'clock areas under the table there appears to be something happening.

I'm interested in seeing what others think so I will be following along.

Is your budget still around 3k?

This looks like a pretty good cushion, but I am personally not loving some of the leakage under the table. I guess for the right price it can be a good deal.

This is less than $3k. I think it’s around $2500.

Thank you. Do you think it will perform well with the leakage you mentioned?

Yes, it will. Most cushions show some leakage, even the very well cut ones. At the price point, carat, color and clarity, this is a great pick!

Congratulations Sin! Please come back and post photos of your finished ring.

@tyty333, @flyingpig and @SimoneDi
For educational info: I would have been concerned about the blue in the ASET and the darkness in the other photos at 2 & 8. How will that area react IRL? I would have thought that it would be similar to a bowtie affect, since they appear to be "turned off"

I see what you mean. The distribution of the blue is not symmetrical or uniform. However, I expect the stone to show more unform and even patterens from othrr viewing distances IRL. In addition, unlike in a shallow cut oval with bow tie, the blue should not be so persistant and should go away if you increase the viewing distance a bit.
