I actually got this three weeks ago, but that was right before I left town for work, so I didn't have time before. Now it's dreary outside, so no hand pics until the sun decides to come out and play.
Te center stone is a 1.01ct F SI1 with 30 0.01ct rounds on in the 18ct WG setting.
Wow, very detailed, ornate, and elegant!!! I''ve never seen a split shank quite like that...those two little accent diamonds on either side of the center stone are so cute! Beautiful!
Anyways, I just got back from the appraisers. You guys were right about EGL reports. 1 off on clarity and 1 off on color. It ends up that I got a 1.01ct G SI2 (still eye-clean,) which is what I was beginning to suspect on my own. What I didn''t suspect was that the setting is 14ct gold and not 18ct like the jeweler said. I guess I''ll have to go back to him and ask him about setting. I''m fine with the diamond itself since I did know that it was an EGL diamond, but I''m a bit miffed about the setting not being what he said. Oh well...I needed to go back to get it reset anyways. I see a space in between the diamond and the prong...
