So after finding Pricescope during my initial E-ring research I found that I loved steps cuts and asschers in particular. I think we all know how difficult a good one can be to find. I initially posted some pretty poor pictures that led to a little bit of panic on my part due to some less than positive comments. I went back to investigate again and loved what I saw.
My fiancé proposed a couple of days ago by taking me to places that were important on our "journey" together --the first place we lived, and eventually to the lake where we had our first date. :kiss2:
Anyway I have been snapping pictures like crazy and realizing just how difficult it is to capture all of the diamond's personality. I am calling her "Shiny" - not very original, but kind of fitting since every time we talked about my ering we called it a "shiny thing".
I have taken a lot of inspiration from Lynn B's beautiful fishtail pave ring and have always loved double claw prongs on asschers.
I worked with a custom jeweler in San Diego - I live locally and found a jeweler while in SD on my birthday. The name of the jeweler's last name is also the same name as my dog, so this kind of felt like a meant to be situation. I have taken A LOT of photos of it -partly because I love it, and partly because I love photography and want to capture her "personality". I have noticed that she tends to reflect the dark purple color of my cell phone. Some of the photos were taken with my phone and some my DSLR.

The rings's TCW is 2.32cts done in 19k "superwhite" gold, 22 H VS melee.
here's a reminder of my stone's stats:
GIA:
1.5ct
I color VS2
6.30 X 6.26 X 4.21 mm
67.2% depth
64% table
thick girdle
no culet
EX EX polish and symmetry
no flour.
- sorry for the excessive pictures.. I have more, but I am limited at 10 hahah :shifty:

and some Christmas themed ones - Christmas lights give off some pretty reflections.
