I just backed out of my original choice because of a poor HCA score that made me nervous.

Please tell me if there is anything wrong with this one..

G VS2 Triple Ex 2.03 round and looks GREAT! The stone grades a 1.8 on HCA.

crown angle 34.5
pavillion angle 41

diameter 8.20 - 8.23 x 4.98 mm
girdle Thin to Medium, Faceted

There is one very small feather on the stone. Also the certificate is from 2005 but the jeweler said he would have it re-certified.

Any obvious issues to anyone?

Looks great and it faces up the same size as the other diamond you were considering, too, because the other one was deeper.

If your jeweler will send it to GIA again, that is the simplest way to go in terms of making sure it has not been damaged etc in the interim. It might come back with different specs, though, so discuss that possibility with the jeweler. GIA is not fallible and one grade either way is common.

That looks like a nice stone. I love the 60.6 depth, it will have a nice spread. Can't wait to see it set, if you choose this one.

good news...it came back with the same grade Looks like this could be the one. I am going to look at it one more time tomorrow. thank you for all the help!!
