Not that this really helps but here are the pics Ritani sent me when I first asked them to see a profile shot of the ring.

As you can see the diamond is set higher and you are right, there are supposed to be more stones on the basket (although mine has 3 on each side too).

Thanks for posting the picture. I didn't see it until now, but I think it will really help me. I am going to find out if there is a way I can email it to the Ritani Rep. that my jeweler is working with. They have had my ring back for two weeks and have just now called me to tell me that I will need to sign a waiver which states that re-making the ring to resemble the old model of this setting (which is exactly like the picture you attached) is against the recomendation of the designer. This is all so odd to me. How can it be againt the recommendation of the designer if that is how they had been making the ring for the past 4+ years? I don't get it

Anyways, I'm officially rambling, so thanks for the picture!
