That sounds so sweet and caring of you to want to help the original owner of this diamond ring, CharmedOne... but I doubt no matter how nice the seller seems, that if you sent any money to them, it would get to the original owner. Just too fishy to me.

You are a very good person, CO, and you know where this woman is coming from... enjoy the ring and know that who ever has your items you had to sell, is also enjoying them to the same extent you are enjoying this

I have quite a few appoints to take my little guy to today. So once it's settles a bit, I will check out RadioShack for a camera. I will post more photos when I get back in later. I bought it from eBay seller who expected to get way more for it but he didn't not list it effectively. The jeweler I went to asked about its history. So I asked the seller and now I wish I hadn't. He said an older lady couldn't afford her taxes and had to sell her house. She had been married twice and sold him some of her jewelry and all of her furniture. He was annoyed with the fact that her daughter didn't want any of it. I was saddened that she had to sell her belongings

It's perfectly possible that he told you this story to make you feel bad. It may be the truth or may not, but either way he shouldn't have told you.
