Thanks to all of you who weighed in on my round brilliant dilemma (1.65 D VS1 vs. 1.72 E VS2). I decided not to worry about the "mind clean" stuff and go with the 1.72! Now I am trying to select a setting. I would prefer to stick with BGD settings if possible and have narrowed it down to either the Novela or the Legera Pave. Here are the links... let me know what you think!!

Thank you all for your votes! I would also love to hear what you like/dislike about each setting, so please feel free to post your thoughts on this as well! I need to make a decision this week and am truly torn. Many thanks in advance! :)

I do not like how the metal gets taller up towards the head on the novela. I think it should stay the same height all the way
around or...go into a cathedral with openings if they want to make it taller.

I like the legera. It looks a little more delicate and 'finished'

The Novela is closer to the Tiffany's Novo setting if that's what she likes. Before I lost my original engagement ring, I had the Novela. The Legera was not out at the time. I really enjoyed my Novela, and the sides did not bother me at all. I eventually got my wedding band remade to match after a local jeweler ruined the original band. It was a 1.3 carat stone, so your stone will look much larger.

I don't like the look of the prongs going straight from the bottom on the Legera, but that is simply a matter of personal preference.

Thank you for all of the insights! The settings are obviously really similar. An additional consideration is that I believe the Legera is a single piece whereas the Novela is a two-piece ring, so the Novela may be more conducive to any future updates. Decisions, decisions! :)
