Tianyu had a live stream promotion on September 26th, a diamond rough that needs to be cut, they estimated that after cutting it will be a 4.5ct emerald cut F-G/VS for $5000,-
I couldn't let this promotion go LOL.
My rep contacted me and told me they overestimated the rough and turned out to be smaller than what they promised. So they were looking for another rough.
End november
They were having trouble to cut such a big stone and asked if i will give them more time to source for another rough and makes lots of excuses for taking so long.
Sophia told me they appreciated i've faith in them and will do their best to fulfill this order.
End december
My rep messaged me again and explained that they have tried to cut my diamond and 2 roughs were damaged.
Now at the 5th attempt they don't take any risk and were hand cutting my rough slowly.
Januari 24,
Finally good news, my diamond was ready and they will send to IGI to get certified.
They were very sorry that it took so many months to finished. They asked IGI to certify with priority.
IGI charge extra for priority and that wasn't included in my buying price.
The next day I sent in my photoshoped inspo pic and within 1 day i received my CAD.
Februari 24,
Sophia sent me the IGI report.
Report date 28 januari, turns out to be 4.69ct H/VS2
I hoped it will be at least a G color so it was a tiny bummer. I love lower color diamonds and it's still a great price for such a big diamond so not a big deal to me.
My ring will goes into production.
March 11,
Every morning i checked if i got a message from Sophia and today is the day, YES
March 13, ring is shipped out to me.
March 17, i finally receive my ring!!!

The emerald lab diamond has a little bit windowing but despite that it gives beautiful flashes and on the edges lots of sparkles.
And that's all what matters to me LOL.
IRL whiter than the pics,videos or my 2ct/H lab oval, so possible a higher H?
They could have cancelled it but they didn't. I'm very satisfy with the craftmanship of the ring and superb customer service!
