Hey everyone!
Sorry for bombarding everyone with questions upon questions!
But I thought I would start a new thread following on from my pear vs round for a pendant.
So I have decided a round! It's 0.50 carat hearts and arrows vs2 and H colour.

So now I'm thinking about setting.
So initially it was a simple solitare four prong. However I was thinking maybe I should get a halo around it to give it a bigger look. It would be a very small thin halo.
What do you think. Or even a halo with yellow diamonds (inspired by my relatives search for a tiffany soleste ring) but it would be the opposite so the stone will be white and surrounding halo will be yellow. But then I don't know how it would look with white gold/platinum and if it might enhance the warmth in the H colour diamond.

So im confused, is initially thought a solitare would be good but I'm unsure now.

Any ideas and suggestions

Thanks ok advance.

Depends on your budget. What is your budget for the piece?

I don't want to spend more than £500-600 on the setting

Then I would not go for a halo.

But I have got a quote for a simple 18k white gold setting for £250 and a small halo setting for £450. So both choices are within budget.

Yes. But that's not going to be a good quality halo. I promise you.
