So Iv decided on purchasing a 5 stone ring 1.25tcw with a clarity of vs2 and colour of g with excellent cut. So it will have five 25 pointers.
Iv also decided on purchasing from this vendor
http://www.thediamondringcompany.co.uk/london-showroom

Now iv not brought from them nor do I have a chance to see the diamonds however as they are 25 pointers I will get a certificate but it won't be GIA I guess cause it would be too expensive for the meeles.
Now before I buy iv had a look at reviews there's not that many but all the ones have been from confirmed purchasers and been very positive. I also know one person who went to the show room and got an engagment ring, very beautiful!

However looking at all the vendors out there in the UK seem to provide the same specs for a lot more, now great that I'm getting a good price however I'm thinking why is it so much cheaper. Is it too good to be true.
Do you think I should go for it? Have a no question asked return policy

Anyone? Shall I just pull the trigger and buy it?

Have you shopped online at other vendors? Even if just to price compare? I have a 5 stone ring and
I purchase all the diamonds seperate and have gia certs for each. Then I had a ring made for them.
Not sure of the quality of the diamonds that will be used in the ring you're looking at, but that's why
I did it the way I did so I could be sure. Also my ring size is a 7 and I used .33 and.34 stones, it covers
to whole width of my finger and I love it! ;))

What is their return policy if you decide you don't want to keep it?

I have looked around got quotes from different vendors. I havnt found a vendor who allows you to choose the diamonds separately , apart from one which was a lot more pricey and way over my budget.
I have looked at US vendors such as whiteflash which is a lot more expensive and I have looked at ID jewellery but iv also read negative reviews on here and seen as it's going to be shipped internationally I don't want the added trouble of sending it back if I don't like it.

If you haven't already tried on this setting, you might want to ask how "tall" the setting is, i.e., how far the stones will sit above your finger. Also how much of your finger the stones or the base of the stones will cover. A .25 diamond will usually measure about 4.1mm, so 5 of them would cover 20.5mm if set side-to-side, more if they're separated by a bit of metal.

That's a good return policy so you wouldn't lose anything by sending for the ring to view it in person. Companies like Whiteflash might charge a bit more but the diamonds they use are the top of the range. Make sure you are comparing like for like when looking at prices :))

The company in that sense are great iv asked them lots of questions about the setting as I wanted a low setting ring so I can wear the ring daily. The setting will be shared prong. Iv decided on the 0.25 pointers as I think it would be a good size on my 4.25 ring.

I think I'm going to get it, and if I don't like it I will return it.
The white flash rings I have see are gorgeous and I'm sure their diamond quality is top notch! Unfortunately there a bit too expensive for me at this time. Maybe in the future!

I hope you will share lots of photos when it arrives. I'm in the UK too and am always interested in decent vendors here.

I most certainly will post pictures!

Your from the uk, are their any UK vendors you recommend? :)

Iv decided to pull the trigger. If it's not what I want then I can send it back!
I did however get quotes from whiteflash and Brian Gavin
White flash for vs2 G colour 5x25 pointers (ACA cut) is around £2900!!!! (calculated by including custom and duty costs)
Briangavin for equivalent is £2500

And this is £1600. So it is a huge difference. Now for the ring I'm getting they won't be hearts and arrows but they are excellent cut.

Other vendors like samara james also are expensive £2900 but those are for hearts an arrows

The only person lower in price is ID jewellery but I'm not going with them.

Sorry I missed your earlier post. I buy from Brian Gavin Diamonds because I'm a long time customer of theirs. I haven't purchased anything diamond related from a UK jeweller since my original engagement ring 9 years ago. :))
