Hi guys! Thanks for all your help so far. I''ve narrowed it down to two stones and I''d like your opinions on them. Both are eye clean.

http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-636629.htm - this one is a J color, but H&A

or

http://www.whiteflash.com/round_ideal_cut/Round-Ideal-Cut-cut-diamond-513827.htm - the color is much better on this one but it''s not H&A

Keep in mind that I''ll be mounting it in the Tacori 2620 in 18k white gold. There is a pic of the setting in this thread - https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/calling-tacori-lovers-another-post-in-my-never-ending-setting-search.78575/

I''d really appreciate all your opinions. I''ve put both stones on hold and I''d like to make a decision by Monday.

I vote for the 1.12 ct. H/SI1 Ideal cut. I have an H/SI1 and I adore it.

I''ll vote for the H SI1.

It obviously depends how much you value H&A versus colour.

Personally I would take the higher colour H stone over the H&A phenomenon.

My own diamond isn''t H&A, but it''s AGS0 and still shows arrows, even if they aren''t perfect enough to allow the stone to be a proper H&A. So you can still get an ''almost H&A'' effect, as you can see in the lovely photo which WF have put on their website. :)

I would ask to have Brian compare the two, and pick the better one. The J has a better looking IS pic, but, that may not translate into a visual difference in real life. Size difference is a non issue.

I''ll put my vote in for the 1.15ct, J, SI1, ACA H&A.
But that is just my engineer''s point of view. I like numbers and symmetry. And this stone falls within the AGS-0 TIC range, while the other GIA stone does not.

There are some posters here that own J color AGS-0 diamonds and they claim that due to the ideal cut the color takes a backseat. But I am not color sensitive. The setting you have chosen hides the pavilion (where you would most likely see the low color). Please correct me if I am wrong.
