Hey everyone,

I've been annoyingly posting about my decision making process in picking out a stone for my gf's engagement ring, constantly asking people to compare different stones and your opinions on this and that. I feel kinda bad and I'm sorry. Thank you so much for all the help everyone has offered already, and this site has been sooo useful to me over the past couple weeks. Anyhow, I'm 99% sure I have my final choice picked out. It's a .764 ct I VS1 A Cut Above from Whiteflash. I'm paying a total of $3444 after discounts and what not. This is above my original budget, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who constantly raises there budget when they see a stone that makes you think "oh wow i could get that one for only a few hundred more? And then before you know it you're looking at stones that cost over twice the original budget. Anyhow, here are some pics of the diamond, any thoughts/feedback would be greatly appreciated! Definitely feel free to give me any negative feedback/criticism if you think I should go with something else as well. Thanks again!

A top quality stone!.. ;)) :appl:

Thanks Dancing Fire! Now all I need to find is a setting to go with it haha.

Well done! This one is beyond reproach. Happy you finally found it.

Thanks Go Sounders! And thank you for all your help over the past couple of days, I'm so appreciative.

What a great stone!! You did a fabulous job -- she's gonna absolutely love it!! Don't forget to post pics!! :appl:

It looks fabulous! Does WF have a setting you like?

Nope, you can end your diamond search now and move on to the setting. Hopefully you'll find something you like at WF too.

It looks amazing. I would recommend investigating jeweler websites that have the "design your own ring" feature. And of course, consult with the person who will be wearing the ring every day! A popular choice these days is to choose a simple prong setting with a thin band to present the diamond, and then design or choose the final setting together.
