Our fifteenth wedding anniversary is coming up later in May and I wanted to enjoy it as much as possible and create amazing memories to carry in the future! DH agreed to let me choose exactly what I wanted and I got to work early on!
First I wanted to get a new ER in a different cut, in order to alternate with the one that I already had! I always loved marquise diamonds so much and I realized that this was my golden opportunity to make my dream come true!
I talked to my jeweler, whom I have known for twenty years now and who has been my perfect companion in almost all of my bling adventures! We worked together in order to find a stone that had good presence but wouldn't break the bank. Additionally, I didn't want a huge ring, because I felt that it wouldn't be practical to wear every day.
So I ended up choosing a 2.88 ct, VVS2, F color, EX Polish and Symmetry stone and had it set on a white gold setting, custom made by my jeweler.
I'm very happy about the fact that the ring sits flush with my eternity rings. It is also substantial but without looking bulky. It's truly perfect and exactly what I wanted!
In the mean time, DH also got me an 18 karat gold bangle with tiny accent diamonds, which i adore and will definitely look amazing with my usual stack !!!!
Last but not least, our DD, who is still young and didn't have a big budget, still decided to get me a gift! She bought me a set of necklace and bracelet, made of black freshwater pearls! They are not super expensive but I love my daughter for this sweet thought and the kind gesture! I will always wear these pieces with lots of happiness and pride!
So here come the photos! As always, not of very high quality, but, hey, I tried!!!!
Thank you so much for looking !
