My fiance wants "my forum's" opinions on his new ring

: 4mm PD950, brushed, comfort fit.

Wider? Wide enough?

His knuckle is a size 10 (watching him squeeze it on made me wince) but when it gets on the finger it's at least a size too big, maybe more, he has very tapered fingers. We've thought of hinged shanks (too expensive), sizing beads, horseshoe insert, any other ideas??

A wider band might look a little less on the loose side visually. SDL's suggestion of sizing beads is an option too, especially if he already likes the width of his current band.

I agree with gecko...wider may not look as loose. Has ne tried any wider ones on in his size?

I have same ring, platinum(PT950), not PD950, but very similar, size 10, 4mm. I love it. Rarely take it off, I sleep and bathe with it, just take it off to clean water off, occaisonally, here is pic:

Bosie I just have to say that your ring looks great on your finger...sorry for the threadjack.

Yssie....I think it looks good, but did he try on a wider band? Maybe that would fit a little better like geckodani suggested.
