Feedback Round Diamond - Crown & Pavilion Angle

This is so far the only diamond I have found that has a better HCA score than 2, however I am also open to a lower HCA (3 or better) due to my budget. I will check with my store (not US) if they can consider getting this diamond and additional information. It is also listed here .

On fluorescence: Do I need to be worried that this is MEDIUM?

please by all that is Holy, don't go below 2.5 on the HCA; certain not as poorly cut as a 3.

I have instructed a new search and received another option, this time its a 3.73ct GIA, I, VS2, Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, None Fluorescence.

Seems better than the initial IGI ones, have requested detailed videos.

Do you mean don't go above 2.5 on the HCA?

I was able to get a video and picture of the 3.7 I VSI diamond from whiteflash, HCA 0.6.

Thanks again everyone - search continued and am still looking at the 3.7 ct from whiteflash.

I received two further videos and would love to get more opinions. To me it looks beautiful but in some angles a little dark - I am unsure wether that’s caused because the cut is actually really good or if it is something to worry about. Thanks!

Just reuploaded the videos, expired after 24 hours

Is going for NONE fluorescence worth it or should I consider faint as well?

I had a diamond with faint and never - in the 25 years I owned it - did it fluoresce or show signs of it. I never would have known, had I not had the cert. I also have a Tag watch and one of the diamonds has medium-strong fluorescence and I didn’t even know until I bought a UV loop. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy faint…. Especially if it brings the price down. But never sacrifice the cut for a larger size if you want a bright, sparkly stone.

well it'd be great if they had provided better imaging (360 spin video like most have)
the dark area - seems excessive - you might have cut issues (obstruction / leakage etc..) with it... would be nice to have a ASET Images.....
the 2017 report date does gives me pause - was this a trade in ??? is it still a VS1 ???

lastly it's a virtual for Whiteflash so don't confuse it with their Super Ideal ACA's or Expert Selections...

Are you planning to purchase from WF ? Maybe if they "call it in" / borrow WF can provide better imaging and an ASET and confirm the condition is still Vs1 during the trial period ?

if you have some time to wait / look more - you can likely find something better

currently WF does have 3 Super Ideal cut 3c+ ACA's in your price zone....

and there is that decent cut 4.29 ct I VS2 with the strong blue ( $$ for the size and color it's a very good deal $45k )

Thanks for the feedback and recommendations. I requested further videos of the diamond I have shared as well as some commentary on whether it was a trade in or not. I have read that "darkness" in sunlight can be a sign of a really good cut of the diamond, which (at least based on the certificate) is the case for that diamond.

I am also looking at these two H colors here

1) https://www.stonealgo.com/diamond-details/GIA-number-5231558602 (Cut Score 8.9)

2) https://www.stonealgo.com/diamond-details/GIA-number-7521351108 (Cut Score 7.7)

the 3.7 H VS1 is better proportioned/cut of those 2.. it's not perfect but it's not a dud.
