I do generally really like his stones, but this isn't my favorite emerald cut that I've seen. I don't think it's going to have much in the way of the mirror/long flash effect

Could be. Def ask experts to chime in. @Kim N? @DejaWiz? Is there a brown tint to this EC? I know tinges and tints are hard to see in these floaty videos.

Being a treated cvd crystal means it has to be carefully checked for crystal defects, some after treatment are very acceptable but a large number its garbage in, garbage out of the treatment process.
